That Yoda Guy

Ok, so look at this photo and try to convince yourself this man did not create Yoda in his own image.

Nick Manley was an illustrator and artist who in his own words, “worked harder and longer than a lot of more talented people to succeed”, and became a top creative talent in Hollywood. He worked on 53 blockbuster movies, doing illustration and prosthetic makeup on everyone from David Bowie in The Hunger to Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean.

He cashed in his Farrari for a sailboat and took his wife to sail in the Caribbean for a year. After the trip, neither could find a reason to return to England. They opened a memorabilia museum here 10 years ago, and have been collecting fistfulls of cash from culture-starved, beer- intoxicated sun-soaked tourists.

Gigi liked the plaster casts of the famous faces he worked on, including Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, and many others.

Jason liked the weapons from Hellraiser and the manikin dressed as Sandperson from Tatooinie (sp?).
